Base Class: Wizard
Astral Lords are wizards who have harnessed the powers of the Astral Plane, and summon its powers to the material realm. The tradition of Astral Lords blend Conjuration and Abjuration magic that they have taken from the Astral Plane. Furthermore the power they have gives them the ability to bend reality itself to their will, blinking in and out of existence, summoning monsters out of thin air, these abilities are almost enough to make other wizards jealous. Followers of this tradition see the Astral Plane as a weapon, and use the powers it grants to their advantage.
Spectral Warrior
When you select this subclass at 2nd level, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 30ft to an unoccupied space that you can see. You can do this a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier, and you regain all spent uses on a short or long rest. At 6th level you can add any unspent movement to the distance of your teleport..
Additionally, you learn how to channel the powers of the Astral Plane into your attacks. when you cast a spell that deals damage, you can choose to change the damage to Force. Additionally your weapon attacks are considered magical for the sake of overcoming resistance, and you can also choose for them to deal Force damage instead of their normal damage type.
Arcane Evasiveness
At 6th level, you learn how to time your blinking in a way that lets you avoid attacks. When you are forced to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you can spend one charge of your blink feature, and instead on a success you take no damage, or on a failure take half.
Astral Puppet
At 10th level, you gain the service of an Astral Familiar. It can take the form of any creature that is medium or smaller, has an intelligence of 8 or lower, and a challenge rating of 2 or lower. You can summon the Familiar with the Find Familiar spell, and it has all of the features of a regular familiar, except it also has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-magical weapons.
True Projection
At 14th level, you can cast the Astral Projection spell once per long rest, without using material components. Also while in the Astral Plane you and your companions don't have a silver tether, instead when you choose to end the spell, you simply blink back into existence.
