Base Class: Ranger
You are now a guardian of the world and have learned how to mold it in amazing ways. It's your job to protect the environment and the environments job to protect you.
Environments gift
At 3rd level, your faith and will to guard the natural world is shown and in return, it molds to your will.
You know the following cantrips: Control flames, Gust, Mold Earth, and Shape Water.
You also get to ignore the limits on the number of non institutions effects for the all the cantrips aside from Elemental chaos.
Respected step
When the natural world lashes out, it refuses to harm it's guardian. You gain the following effects at 5th level:
- You can walk through and stand in non-magical fire and/or heated space without taking any damage.
- You can ignore difficult terrain caused by any earth, regardless of the area you are in.
- You gain a swim speed equal to your walk speed and the ability to walk on water provided you can step onto the water.
- You have resistance to force damage and advantage on being knocked prone.
Elemental arms
At 11th level, your guidance of nature has let you use it for your own harming strikes. Whenever you attack with a melee weapon that has a range of 5 feet, you can instead make it ten feet. On a successful non magical hit, you can pick a damage type (Acid, cold, fire, lighting, or thunder) and deal an extra 3d4 damage of that damage type. You gain an extra d4 with this ability at 16th level (4d4 damage) and 19th level (5d4 damage)
Primordial cage
At 15th level, your mastery of the environment has grabbed it's full devastating potential. Once per long rest, you can use an action to pick an area that's within 150 feet of you to make a 30 foot sphere. Anyone in the sphere takes 1d6 Acid, cold, fire, lighting, and thunder damage. Anyone trying to leave the area must make a str saving throw against your spell DC. On success, they punch a hole through the circling elements. You can use this ability once per long rest and it lasts for 10 minutes unless you dismiss it as an action or fall unconscious.
