Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

In Cloud Giant kingdoms, the peaks of mountains, and the tops of gargantuan trees is where you'll find barbarians that follow the Path of the Howling Winds. The skies are where they feel at home, and that's represented by their skills and abilities. They twirl and float from stance to stance, with quick, flurrying strikes, able to devastate an enemy with the force of a hurricane and the speed of a tornado's winds.

Barbarian's that tread this path rely on their bond to the Elemental Plane of Air. Why they have this bond can vary, be it through a Djinn's curse, or a cloud giant relative, but it  allows them to call upon unique abilities they can use to shift the tide of battle.

Wind-Assisted Movement

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level,  you learn how  to manipulate the wind to enhance your movements. Your speed increases by 10 feet, and your jump distance and height is doubled.

Nimble Fighter

Beginning at 6th level, you gain proficiency in the Acrobatics skill. If you are already proficient in the skill, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it. You also cannot be knocked prone while raging. Additionally, your speed increases by another 10 feet, and can take the disengage action as a bonus action.

Airborne Spirit

Beginning at 10th level, you can use an action to call upon the denizens of the Plane of Air, and summon an Air Elemental to fight for you. The elemental disappears after 15 rounds, or until dismissed.

The elemental is friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll Initiative for the elemental, which has its own turns. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to the elemental, it defends itself from Hostile creatures but otherwise takes no Actions.

You can use this feature once per long rest.

Upon reaching level 16, you gain the ability to instead summon an Air Elemental Myrmidon, although you may still summon an Air Elemental if desired.

Master of the Skies

Starting at 14th level, you learn to manipulate the air and wind around you with enough force to allow you to fly. You gain a permanent flying speed of 10 feet, which increases to 30 feet while raging.
