Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You have spent your life hiding in the early morning fogs of the city. Swirling clouds of fog are your friend, a protective covering that hides you from prying eyes. You become well-versed in navigating without relying on your sight and striking foes you cannot see, while remaining hidden from view.

Call the Fog

Beginning at 3rd level, you can summon fog to hide you in battle. You gain the ability to cast Fog cloud, with the target being self. Once you have used this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.
In addition once per short rest while in the area of a Fog Cloud, Stinking Cloud, Cloudkill. or Incendiary Cloud spell you may use a bonus action to coalesce some of the cloud into a dagger. The dagger deals magical slashing damage if made from Fog Cloud, and the same damage type of the spell if made from other spells. The dagger disappears if it is not in your hand at the end of your turn.

At 5th level you can cast Stinking Cloud instead of Fog Cloud.

At 9th level you can cast Cloudkill instead of Stinking Cloud or Fog Cloud.

At 15th level you can cast Incendiary Cloud once per long rest using this feature.

Dance through Mists

Starting at 3rd level, you are comfortable when surrounded by fog. When you are surrounded by mists, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) and Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks. In addition moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs no extra movement if you are under the cover of mist.

Eyes of the Fog

Starting at 9th level, you have learned the nuances of the mist. While in heavily obscured areas of fog, mist, or cloud spells you gain Eyes of the Fog. While Eyes of the Fog is active you can pinpoint the location of any creature within your patch of fog or mist as long as they are within 20ft of you.

Become the Mists

At 13th level your ability to manipulate fog and mist increases. While inside of a cloud spell or heavily obscuring mist or fog you may use your reaction to cast Gaseous Form on yourself when you are targeted by an attack. The spell ends at the beginning of your next turn. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier before you must finish a long rest.

Mists of Freedom

When you reach 17th level, you have become so in tune with the mists that your body seems to float through them unfettered by even magical hinderances. While in an area of heavily obscured fog, mist, or cloud spells you are treated as if you are under the effects of a Freedom of Movement and Haste spell that target only you. If these effects are granted by a natural fog or mist they reactivate the following turn if dispelled unless you are in an antimagic field. If these effects are granted by a spell effect and that spell is dispelled or it's duration ends, the effects last until the end of your next turn.
