Bruiser

Unlike other rogues, you focus on brutality and strength over finesse and guile. Where the average cutpurse might slit a throat or puncture the heart with a swift stilleto between the ribs you smash noses, punch livers and stomp the groin.

Close Up Work

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your Cunning Action to attempt to grapple an enemy as a bonus action.

You are also skilled at positioning yourself to avoid damage. While grappling a creature you have half cover from enemies other than the grappled creature if the grappled creature is your size or smaller and 3/4 cover if the grappled creature is larger than you.

Dirty Brawler

By 3rd level you are skilled at fighting to win by whatever means necessary. Using broken bottles, cookware, pieces of furniture, eye gouging, biting or kneeing the groin. You gain the following benefits.

• You are proficient with improvised weapons.

• Any one-handed improvised weapon or your unarmed strikes can trigger your Sneak Attack as if they had the finesse or ranged property.

• You don’t need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if the creature is grappled by you and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll. All the other rules for Sneak Attack still apply to you.

That Looks Painful

By 9th level your obvious comfort and expertise with extreme and unnecessary violence makes you a terrifying opponent.

Once per short rest, after using your Sneak Attack ability, you can use your bonus action to force every enemy that can see you within 30 feet to make a Wisdom save (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus) or be frightened of you until the end of their next turn.

Cheap Shots

By 13th level, you have turned dirty brawling into an art form. You can use the opening created by a particularly vicious blow to land a series of headbutts, elbows, knees and kicks.

When you inflict a critical hit on a target you can immediately spend your bonus action to attack the target 1d4 times using unarmed strikes.

Goodnight Irene

Liver shot, blood choke, chair leg to the facial tentacles, however you do it, you know how to take an opponent out of the fight.

Twice per short rest you can use your bonus action after a successful attack to debilitate the same opponent. The target must pass a Constitution save (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus) or be incapacitated until the end of its next turn. If the triggering attack used your Sneak Attack damage, the target rolls with disadvantage.
