Base Class: Rogue
A Master Blade Thrower is a perfectionist in the art of hurling sharp metal with deadly precision. Be it knives, throwing axes, or something more custom; they will practice obsessively with the chosen weapon in order to throw with an uncanny level of accuracy. This may be done with the showy flare of a performance artist or the quiet focus of an assassin at work.
Favoured Blade
Beginning at 3rd level, when you choose this subclass, you may choose a weapon with the "thrown" and "light" properties to be your favoured weapon. While wielding the favoured weapon its normal and long range are increased by 20ft.
Point-Blank Expertise
Starting at 3rd level, you gain the ability to throw with unrivaled deadliness at close range. While wielding your favoured weapon, you gain +1 damage when attacking a target within 20ft of you. In addition, attacking a target within 5ft of you with your favoured weapon does not impose disadvantage on your attacks.
Weapon Retrieval
Starting at the 9th level, you have learned to use your lightning quick reflexes to retrieve your thrown weapons in the heat of battle, raking the blade through flesh as you do. As an attack action you may remove your favoured weapon from a successfully wounded creature, inflicting double the damage dealt by the dice roll of said weapon.
Focused Throw
Starting at 9th level, you can pause briefly to concentrate your focus into an incredibly accurate throw. Once per round when you make a thrown attack with your favored weapon, it is made with advantage.
An Eye for Weakness
Starting at 13th level, you instinctively seek the ‘chink in the armour’ of your opponents, increasing the base damage of your favored weapon by two die steps (e.g. If you specialise in daggers, than you would do 1d8 damage instead of 1d4). Additionally, you gain an extra attack with said weapon.
Threading the Needle
Starting at 17th level, you have mastered the art of throwing and can split the wings off a fly across a crowded tavern. Enemies with Half-Cover and Three-Quarters Cover no longer gain bonus AC against your thrown attacks with your favoured weapon.
