Base Class: Rogue
Every unit requires a Medical Officer.
On Your Feet
Starting at 3rd level, your support and resilience in battle inspires others to fight through their pain.
You gain a pool of Rally Dice, equal to half your rogue level rounded up. As an action, you can expend 1 or more Rally Dice to heal a target within 5ft of you for [1d8 + Your Intelligence Modifer] hit points, for each Rally Dice expended.
When you heal an ally in this way, the strength you give to your allies spurns you on. You also gain temporary hit points equal to your rogue level, that last until the beginning of your next turn.
You regain all uses of your Rally Dice after a short or long rest.
Medical Officer
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Medicine, and proficiency with the Healers Kit.
Your proficiency within this area also grants you the following additional cunning action:
As a bonus action, you can stabilise an unconscious creature. They remain unconscious, but stabilise on 1hp. They will regain consciousness in 1d4 hours.
Rallying Cry
Upon reaching level 9 in this class: As a bonus action, you can let out a rallying cry and aura that inspires and bolsters the resolve of your surrounding allies. This Aura persists for 1 minute, and has a radius of 30ft, centered on yourself. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
The effect of the aura depends on the type of cry that you make.
Dig deep! This cry grants you and your allies might and endurance. Each creature of your choice in the aura when the Cry is made gains temporary hit points equal to 5 + your rogue level. In addition, you and your allies gain advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws while in the aura.
All together! Knowledge of your ready support offers protection to those nearby. You and your allies gain advantage on all ability checks made to detect creatures in the aura. In addition, if you expend any of your Rally Dice to heal any creature inside the aura, each creature of your choice within also regains hit points equal to your Rogue level.
Restorative Rest
Upon reaching level 13 within this class, your soothing presence puts your tired and wounded comrades at ease; and you spend your short-rest checking over the health of your fellows.
Up to 10 creatures of your choice can re-roll any 1s or 2s on hit dice rolled to regain HP on a short rest. You must use the outcome of this re-roll.
This healing counts as light activity for purposes of a short rest.
Battlefield Athlete
At level 17, your duty and desire to protect those around you drives you on to extreme feats of athleticism. When you take the dash action as your cunning action , your dash-speed doubles for the duration of this turn.
