Base Class: Sorcerer
Lost the power of your gaze, fiend?", the priest cried, his holy symbol gripped in his outstretched hand.
"I am not what you think I am, human," the half-woman replied, her serpent hair rearing back in a visible display of irritation.
"You are a twisted beast, suffering penance for the sins of your mothers until such time as Lathander's light redeems you," he grinned cruelly as he readied his hammer, "I am that light."
"So be it. Though it is you who will meet Lathander today, as all the rest have," she said simply, drawing her blade and steeling herself to the task of creating another martyr to ignorance."
Your blood runs cold when the light hits you just right your skin has a thin, scale-like quality. You could at a glance be mistaken for a draconic heritage. Your eyes are striking, otherworldly. Instinctively people give you a wide birth, they rarely lock eyes with you. Those who do, tend to regret it.
Stony Gaze
From 1st level, your gaze carries traces of the petrifying magic of the Medusa. During your turn you can fix your gaze on one target within 90ft that you can see as bonus action. It's speed is reduced by 10 until the beginning of your next turn.
When you reach 3rd level in this class, you learn the Hold Person spell, and when you reach 9th level you learn the Hold Monster spell. These spells don't count against your number of sorcerer spells known. You can cast these spells by expending a spell slot as normal, or alternatively by spending 2 Sorcery Points to cast Hold Person or by spending 6 Sorcery Points to cast Hold Monster. If you cast either spell with sorcery points you may cast it without verbal, somatic, or material components.
Serpent Splendor
At first level, you become both monstrous and beautiful. Your hair hangs in serpent-like tendrils that writhe while your eyes, skin, and features begin to resemble those of a viper. You gain proficiency in your choice of deception, intimidation, or persuasion. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for the skill you choose.
Deception
You have chosen deception.
Intimidation
You have chosen intimidation.
Persuasion
You have chosen persuasion.
Cold Blooded
Starting at 6th level, your deadly nature makes your magic more effective against unsuspecting targets. Whenever you cast a spell while you are invisible you may impose disadvantage on the saving throw of one affected target you can see.
Alternatively, when you cast a spell you may impose disadvantage on the saving throw of one surprised target you can see.
Shedding Shadows
At 14th level, your magic allows you to slither away while avoiding notice. As a bonus action you can create an illusion of yourself in your square while you become invisible. Both the illusion and your invisibility last until the end of your next turn, you become visible if you cast a spell or make an attack. Once you use this ability you cannot use it again until you take a short or long rest.
Killing Glare
Starting at 18th level, your eyes become conduits of ruinous energy. As an action you may make a ranged spell attack against one creature you can see within 90ft. On a hit the target takes necrotic damage equal to 10d6 plus your Charisma modifier. If the target is reduced to zero hp by this attack they are immediately petrified. Once you use this ability you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
