Base Class: Sorcerer
When Ostoria fell, the giants found themselves greatly diminished in their diaspora. They grew smaller and less mighty with every surrender, every compromise, and every passing year. While true giants still walk the planes, in time became nealy indistinuishable from the smallfolk. Sometimes amongst these there are those born with a soul bigger than their body can contain, a throwback to the time of glory.
Giant Resilience
The resilience of giants flows through your body. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.
Mark of the Greatfolk
At 1st level, you can use a bonus action on your turn to enlarge yourself, immediately before or after you cast a spell of 1st level or higher. This enlargement works exactly as the Enlarge spell, but requires no components. The effect lasts until the end of your next turn and does not require concentration.
At 3rd level you may expend two Sorcery Points to cast the Enlarge spell on yourself as a bonus action. Again, this effect requires no components, but otherwise functions exactly as the normal Enlarge spell.
Finally, you learn the spell Thunderous Smite, which doesn't count against your number of sorcerer spells known.
Strength of the Mighty
Starting at 6th level, you may expend three Sorcery Points to cast the Enlarge spell on yourself as a bonus action instead of two. Doing so grants you the following additional effects;
- Your Strength Ability score increases to the same level as your Charisma score for the duration, unless your Charisma score is lower.
- While under this effect you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
- The additional damage offered by the Enlarge effect increases from 1D4 to 1D6.
- Finally, you become resistant to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Once the effect of this ability is ended, you may not use it again until you have finished a short or long rest.
Rage of the Greatfolk
Starting at 14th level, when you use your Strength of the Mighty, you get the following benefits:
- Your hit points and hit point maximum increase by 1 per sorcerer level.
- Your reach increases by 5 feet.
- Your walking speed increases by 5 feet.
- You gain a bonus equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of +1) to the damage rolls of your melee weapon attacks.
Blessing of the Greatfolk
At 18th level, your Constitution score increases by 2, up to a maximum of 22.
In addition, you can now use Strength of the Mighty twice between rests, but no more than once on a turn. If you use that feature while under its effects, its increases to your size, hit points, reach, and walking speed are cumulative.
