Base Class: Paladin
"Everyone knows how to make another human being, but not everyone knows how to control what humans make."
Your faith has lead you to distrust those that use technology and magic freely without any concept of consequences. You seek to control technology and magic around you to prevent harm to the common people.
Tenets of the Techpriest
Machine
Machines have been used to advance civilizations and fight wars.
Magic
Magic is used by those familiar with art and more dangerously by those who have the innate ability to channel their natural powers.
Control
Be aware of those that use magic and machines to harm and be prepared to control them by any means necessary.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Consume Magic
You transfer the magical properties of once piece of equipment over to another. The new enchantment replaces the old one and enchantments can only be transferred between similar equipment (armor to armor, weapon to weapon)
Enable Magic
As an action, you utter a chant that flows into your allies. Your chant enhances their magical abilities, giving them advantage on any spell's cast for the first cast only.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Aura of Control
Starting at 7th level, any conjured or constructed being within 10 feet of you comes under your command until they leave the radius. If their original owner is reduced to 0 HP the being either disappears or becomes inanimate.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Construct of the Techpriest
Beginning at 15th level, you now have a Construct follower.
Your construct's maximum HP is half of yours with an AC of 3 less than yours (minimum of 10). If the Construct's HP were to drop to 0, the machine becomes inactive and retreats to your inventory. It can be repaired out of combat and once per long rest.
During combat, you can use your bonus action to command your construct to move or attack. Your construct's attacks have the same modifiers as your attacks (Hit DC and Damage).
Techpriest's Favor
At 20th level, as an action, you enhance the abilities of your construct for 5 minutes. Where you would originally use you bonus action to command your construct to move or attack, your construct can now move twice, attack twice, or move and attack for your bonus action. Your construct also regains all lost health.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
