School of Pyromancy

You focus your study on magic that creates fire to the point of obsession. Some Pyromancers find employment within manufacturing sectors, helping create the hottest forges. Others use their abilities to obliterate their foes on the battlefield.

Runes Of Protection

You gain resistance to fire damage if you do not already have it. In addition to this you draw, carve or paint arcane symbols onto another creatures skin or clothing.This takes around a minute to complete and for the next 8 hours they gain resistance to fire damage. This can be done once per long rest.

This increases by 1 use at level 6,10,14 and 18 to a maximum of 5 uses.

Runes of Destruction

Beginning at 2nd level, you can enhance the damage done by your Pryomancy spells by adding the correct runes to your body, armour or weapons. When you cast a spell that causes fire damage to a creature or creatures, you add additional fire damage equal to your proficiency bonus to one of the rolls.

Incinerate

When you roll fire damage, you can use a reaction to deal maximum damage, instead of rolling. This can be done once per long rest.

Unbearable Inferno

Your mastery over fire knows no bounds. Your fire damage based spells bypass resistances and immunities.

*Creatures that are resistant to fire damage treat it as if they were not resistant, taking full amount of your rolled damage.  

*Creatures that are immune to fire damage treat it as if they were resistant, taking half of your rolled damage.

Blazing Aura

Your control over fire is now unmatched. Once per long rest you can activate this ability wreathing you in a flaming aura. This gives you the following effects lasting for 1 minute:

*You gain immunity to cold and fire damage.

*You gain resistance to bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage from non-magical weapons.

*When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage dice you can choose to re-roll the die and take the second roll.

If you are hit with a melee attack the attacker must make Con save equal to your spell save DC. on a fail they take fire damage equal to your intelligence modifier.
