Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Songsmiths travel hostile lands in search of a battle truly worthy of recording into an epic song, and thus sing the song of battle whenever and wherever they find it. In doing so, they strike inspiration into the hearts of those that follow them, and fear into the hearts of those in their way.

Primal Performer

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in performance using your voice and an instrument that you choose. Additionally you can speak and understand Celestial, and you obtain an empty book of sheet music.

At the end of a battle in which you raged, you can take 10 minutes to write the song that resulted from the battle down and give it a name, and may add this to your songbook. Performing these songs in public can spread your tales throughout the land through the various bards and storytellers who see you perform and enjoy your work. Additionally, you can perform at local taverns or inns to potentially earn a free stay for those you adventure with.

Impassioned Rage

Impassioned Rage:

At 3rd level when you activate your rage, choose up to 3 targets within 30 ft. Each of these targets gain +5 to use on only their next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw. This feature cannot stack on a single creature with multiple uses.

The number of creatures you can target with this feature increases to 4 at 6th level, 5 at 10th and 6 at 14th.

Song of Elation or Malice

At 6th level, while you are raging, as a bonus action, you can choose to sing of pure Elation or Malice which impose effects below.

Elation: As part of the activation of this feature, you can choose one creature within 30 feet to increase their movement speed and jump height by 1.5. Also, once per rage as an action, you can end a charm or fear effect on a creature within 5 ft of you by dedicating the portion of the song to them and encouraging them to assist in the creation of a great ballad.

Malice: As part of the activation of this feature, you can choose one creature within 30 feet of you. Until the start of your next turn, your melee weapon attacks deal psychic damage psychic equal to your performance modifier to this target. Also, once per rage, as an action, if the chosen creature is within melee, you can force them to make a wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you for one minute.

Protective Thrum

At 10th level, while you are raging as a bonus action, you can sing in a deep baritone and a barrier of sound forms around you. Any creature within a 10 foot radius of you must make a constitution saving throw or take 4d6 thunder damage and be pushed 15 feet directly away from you and knocked prone. Any unsecured objects large or smaller automatically fail the saving throw. Until the beginning of your next turn, all non-magical projectiles are blocked by the barrier, you have a +3 bonus to AC, and anyone who enters your space for the first time must also make the saving throw.

You can use this feature once per long rest.

Ballad of Beguiling

Beguiling Presence:

At 14th level while raging, at the start of your turn, you may designate a target, if the target can hear you, it must succeed on a charisma saving throw of DC = 8 + your performance modifier or be forced to use their movement directly toward you. If the target is presently afraid of you, its speed becomes zero.
