Bard
Base Class: Bard

As a bard, have you ever wanted to be the sleaziest merchant in all the land? If yes, then the College of Mercantilism is for you! These bards are not quite the masters of combat, though they do take the spell list of the artificer into their bag of tricks. Their real jobs are taking their selves or the party out of (or depending on character, into) trouble, and getting themselves(and maybe the party of their feeling generous) filthy rich

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Lore at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three skills of your choice.

Merchant’s tongue

As a collage of Mercantilism bard, at level three you gain the ability to use that merchants tongue of yours. What you can do is expend one of your bardic inspirations to give yourself advantage on any check that uses one of the charisma based skills

Self Protecting Merchant

At 6th level, College if mercantilism bards can learn an invaluable skill, the skill of set defense. When a right is beginning, a collage of Mercantilism bard can use a reaction to attack a target of their choice however* they want. The asterisk is there because the attack HAS to be damaging, and the target must be within the attack range of said bard. This attack and it’s damage (if it hits) is rolled before initiative.

Deal maker

Starting at 14th level, when you make an ability check, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to your ability check. You can choose to do so after you roll the die for the ability check, but before the DM tells you whether you succeed or fail.
