A Waxmancer’s offensive capabilities come not from the sheer strength of their magic, but from the clever and ingenious ways, they employ their wax-based sorceries to meet the needs of the situation.
The Sculpting of Wax Golems are a useful tool for any Waxomancer, their waterproof bodies easily take blunt impacts but are weak to sources of heat. At higher levels, a Waxomancer can easily replicate effigies of beings and creatures known by the caster. Creating Wax Golems mimicking the image of the caster and its allies can be used to evade certain travesty while manipulating copies of your enemies can bluff you through the most hazardous and strange encounters.

Wax Savant

Beginning when you select this arcane tradition at 2nd level, your dabbling in magical waxes has coated most of your body in some form making you resistant to Acid Damage. Also, you become proficient with a Disguise Kit, if you were not already.

Wax Golem

Starting at 2nd level, you can perform a 10-minute ritual to sculpt and animate a Wax Golem. At 8th and 14th level, the golem’s stat block increases. You can only have one golem active using this feature.

The golem obeys your commands as best as it can. It takes its turn on your initiative. On your turn, as a bonus action, you can command the golem where to move and what action to take. Once given an order, the golem continues to follow it until its task is complete.

Master of Disguise

Beginning at 6th level, disguises created by you can fool the sharpest eyes. Investigation checks made against the disguise must roll with Disadvantage. Creatures disguised by you gain advantage on their Performance and Deception checks to maintain their disguise.

Malleable Form

Starting at 10th level, as a bonus action you can transmute your body into a malleable wax state for 10 minutes. You gain a climbing speed equal to your movement and can fit through a space as narrow as 1 inch. While you use this feature, you have +1 to your AC and gain temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + your wizard level. You cannot use this feature again until you have had a rest.

Fantastical Facsimile

Beginning at 14th level, as an action, you can alter the form of your wax golem to take the shape of any creature or object of equivalent or smaller size that you have studied for at least 1 minute.
