Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

A Demonbinder is a person who, for whatever insane reason, grafts a demon to their body with dark magic. This process is painful, yet results in dark powers being granted to the Demonbinder. Those who try this typically perish, the demonic essence consuming their body and soul. The ones strong enough to survive find themselves able to call upon dark powers, magic bound to their very soul. It is corrupting, intoxicating even, leaving most Demonbinders mad, but those with a strengthened mind may stave off this maddness, becoming powerful Warlocks. The process to graft a demon to the body and soul almost always results in the loss of parts of oneself, replaced by a fully functioning duplicate formed from a demonic essence. These parts serve as a focus for the Warlock, channeling their power through the grafted demonic essence in ways most casters struggle to match. Beware.....the price is steep.

Demonic Graft

Starting at 1st level, You bind the essence of a demon into your flesh, loosing a part of your body, and replacing it with demonic essence. Choose one part of your body, such as a hand, an eye, or a leg. That part of you is gone, consumed by the demon or removed before the binding ritual is performed. This part is replaced by a demonic limb that functions identically to the lost part, with no detriment to the Demonbinder. The new part is a magical limb that cannot be severed or removed in any way, and functions as a spellcasting focus for spells that require material components without a gold cost. The limb is very clearly demonic in form, either being grotesque, monstrous, covered in scales or fur, or even being made of solid demonic energy. The lost limb may never be replaced by any means.

Additionally, the binding of demonic essence to the warlock grants them additional vigor, bolstering their life. They gain 1 maximum hit point, and 1 additional for every level gained in this class.

Infernal Limb

Starting at 6th level, The Demonbinder's connection to their Demonic Graft is growing. The Warlock gains immunity to Poison damage and the Poisoned Condition

Additionally, you may choose one feature from the following, depending on the part of yourself that was replaced with your graft

Demonic Claw

You gain a claw attack that may be used to make 2 attacks as an action. You use your charisma modifier to determine your bonus to hit and damage, and the claw deals 1d6 slashing damage.

Demonic Eye

You gain darkvision out to 60ft. If you already have Darkvision, your range is increased by 30ft. Additionally, you have advantage on perception checks related to sight, and gain immunity to the Blinded condition.

Demonic Leg

You gain a bonus 10ft movement speed, and can walk along any surface as though with the spider climb spell. Additionally, standing up from prone only takes 5 ft of movement, rather than half of your movement

Demonic Wings

Starting at 10th level, you can, as a bonus action, sprout wings from your back. These wings appear demonic, matching the grafted part chosen by the Demonbinder in apperance, and grant you a fly speed equal to your walking speed.

Infernal Pain

Starting at 14th level, Your demonic graft is woven so tightly with your being, granting you the power to torment your foes with terrible demonic energy.

When you strike a creature with an attack, you may channel demonic energy from your graft into the attack. The target takes 10d10 psychic damage, and must make a constitution save against your spell save DC. On a fail, they are incapacitated, wracked with unimaginable pain, until the start of your next turn.

You may only activate this ability once per long rest
