Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The domain of lawyers and pedants. The pedantry domain is the domain of lawful neutral gods who care more about the accuracy and specificity of words than their content.

Bonus proficiencies

You gain proficiency in persuasion and deception

Channel divinity: Encoded message

Through precise use of language you can convey as many multiple meanings through the same sentence as your cleric level. You can choose who in your hearing understands which encoded messages, although an eavesdropper who perceives what you are doing and succeeds a wisdom saving throw will be able to understand the other messages.

Exact words

You have passive deception equal to your charisma + your proficiency modifier. You always roll with advantage on deception checks, and no party member within 30 feet of you ever rolls with disadvantage on deception checks.

Contractual enforcement

By careful interpretation, you can always reinterpret words to your advantage. You are immune to the charmed and frightened conditions and to all spells that compel behavior.

Ironclad argument

No one can fight you unless they can overcome your convincing argument as to why they shouldn't. Once per long rest you can force any creature with an intelligence score of 10 or higher to make a wisdom saving throw against your persuasion check. If they fail, they are charmed and cannot attack you or your allies unless you or your allies attack them. If someone attacks one of their allies, they can make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save to escape the charmed condition.
