Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Being a wizard is hard, low hp, spell components cost a lot and dealing with other, less read people can be a hastle.

Here at the hobo wizard academy, we understand your troubles, no longer will you have to be ashamed of your ripped socks, bad smell or dirty hair, because here at the hobo wizard academy for the broke, we turn that into a strength.

Ritual of the broke

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, you can use a special ritual to lower the cost of copying a spell in your spellbook.

The ritual takes 10 minutes and you can tribute any object that belongs to you, you can subtract the collective amount of gold that the items you tribute  to the cost of copying a spell. You can only lower the cost of one spell copying per ritual.

You can also use the ritual to lower the cost in gp of the next spell that has a gp cost you cast. You can use the ritual for this purpose once before needing to take a short or long rest.

Advanaced economy

Starting at 2nd level when you choose this school, when you cast a spell that has a gold cost, you regain 1 gp per level of the spell.

Eye for treasure

Beginning at 6th level, you have a knack for finding useful items in the wild and cities. You gain advantage of Intelligence (Investigation) checks to find objects.

Recycling

Starting at 10th level, you have a chance to keep consumable items when you use them.

When you use an item that has a 1 time use (like a potion or a scroll), you can roll a d100, if the rolled number is equal or lower than your level, the item isn't expended. You can also use this feature for spell components that are consumed by the spell.

You can only use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, this recharges at the end of a long rest.

Trashomancy

Starting at 14th level, you become deeply attuned with the world of cheap and useless stuff.

You can infuse any item that has a cost of 1gp or less with a prepared spell with a range of touch. For the next 1 hour, you can decide to trigger the spell, wether or not someone is touching it (if nobody is touching it, the spell goes off as if casted at nobody). You can only use this feature once per long rest. When you trigger the spell, the item is consumed.
