College of Motion

The bards of the College of Motion are graceful dancers, skilled jugglers, and lithe acrobats whose performances are focused on fluid movements and displays of speed and agility. In combat, such bards are expert skirmishers, nimbly dodging and weaving around their adversaries while striking with deft precision.

Allegro

When you join the College of Motion at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Acrobatics skill and you can use your bonus action to take the Dash action.

Poetry in Motion

At 3rd level, you learn to confound your enemies with your speed and agility. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to make a melee weapon attack against a creature and add the number you roll on your Bardic Inspiration die to the damage. Immediately after the attack, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Ready to Go

Also starting at 3rd level, when you take the Ready action, you can both move up to your speed and take an action in response to the chosen trigger. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Transposition

Starting at 14th level, you can magically reposition yourself or your allies on the battlefield to gain a tactical advantage. As a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and choose two willing creatures that you can see within 60 feet of you. You immediately teleport each target to the other’s space.

In addition, when a creature you can see within 30 feet of you is hit by an attack or fails a Dexterity saving throw against an effect that you can see, you can use your reaction to expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and choose a willing creature that you can see within 60 feet of you. You immediately teleport each creature to the other’s space, and the chosen creature takes the damage and is affected by the triggering attack or effect.
