Shadow Emperor

Shadow stealer is a class dedicated to those who want to play rogue and necromancer. and create a crew of shadows specters. It's purpose is eliminate enemies and use them as their puppets or servant to fight future enemies.

They sneak and kill and then grow their armies.

 

Shadow Stealer

At level 3 you gain 3 king counter (you gain 1 every 2 levels) and can use your reaction to steal the shadow of a creature/enemy you kill (last hit) and try to steal it's shadow. The percentage of success depending on the difference between the player's level compared to the monster challenge rate

- lower level/challenge rate: 75% success rate

- Same to +5 level/challenge rate: 50 % success rate

-  6 to 9 level/challenge rate difference: 25% success rate

- 10 to 14 level/challenge rate difference: 15% success rate

- 15+ level/challenge rate difference: 5%

and as an action, you can use your counters to summon the creatures depending on their size. the creatures are also specters other than the creature type and have resistance to non-magical abilities or weapons

- Tiny: 1/4 counter

- Small: 1/3 counter

- Medium: 1/2 counter (Unless it uses spells, in that case is 1 counter)

- Large: 1 counter

- Huge: 2 counter

- Gargantuan: 4 counters

Shadow Swap

starting at level 9 you up to  6 creatures can change places between your shadow summons. Also 1 per long rest, you may also mark creatures shadows as waypoints. (one use per creature). Once teleporting and un-marking a target you can't mark them again for 10 days

Shadow Sacrifice

Starting at level 13 you may use your reaction to sacrifice a shadow specter and erase them from your rooster for one of these options

Consume the shadow: you may heal yourself depending on the creature's hit point dice

Destroy shadow: you may hit all enemies within a 20 feet radius of the shadow specter (dex save DC 15) and  deal them with the creatures Hitpoints dice in necrotic damage, halved in a successful roll

Revival of shadows

Starting at level 17 you may recover a shadow you used with shadow sacrifice

once per short rest
