Chef

Whether making spaghetti of healing or breadsticks of strength, chefs find ways to imbue the food they make with all kinds of useful support spells, helping their allies in battle, even if they prefer to stay on the sidelines. However, they are not completely defenseless as they are quite skilled in all manner of blades, as well as elemental and nature magic.

Force Feed

At 6th level, as a bonus action, you spend a Bardic Inspiration to make a meal on the fly in order to give an ally an advantage or an enemy a disadvantage on their next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check. You must have ingredients. Target must be within 5 ft.

Meal Time

At level 3, calling on all the magic at your disposal, you make a delicious meal for your whole party, weaving spells into every bite. Roll for spell attack to determine how successful the spell is (DC 13), and a performance check for how tasty the meal is (13 is palatable). Nat 20 on either of these rolls guarantees success on the other. Nat 20 on palatability also gives an inspiration die to each consumer (d6 at lv. 3, d8 at lv. 5, d10 at lv. 10, and 2d8 at lv. 15). If the effect of the spell is a debuff, the consumer of the meal must make the spell's saving check. Must be done over the period of a short rest. Must have ingredients and spell slots (one for each serving of food). Meals last for 72 hours, and are one use only.

Refined Taste

At level 6, using your advanced pallet born from years of experience in cooking, you can smell or taste even the most faint fragrances and flavors. Add Proficiency bonus on Perception and Investigation rolls that involve the senses of taste or smell.

The Taste of a Liar

At 14th level, you can come in close and lick the face of your opponent. Your refined senses allow you to tell the difference between truth and lies by the taste of their sweat. Add advantage to Insight rolls.

Culinary School

All good chefs have gone to culinary school, making them proficient in Cook's Utensils.  Furthermore, your familiarity with plants and animals, both inside and out, has made you skilled with all forms of Nature magic.

Cook's Constitution

At level 3, your many years sampling dishes has improved your resistance to any unsavory consequences. Add +1 to Constitution.
