Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who chose this path are usually explorers who need to experience the world at the frontlines instead of seeing it through a telescope. Alchemy is their key to access the strength sealed within roots, bones and minerals. They mix together whatever they have at hand and they are their own test subjects. Even if their experiments fail, what does not kill them makes them stronger.  Alchemy will break their chains.

Alchemical Knack

When you choose this path at 3rd level you start to experiment with alchemical compounds. You gain proficiency with alchemist's supplies.

Whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can magically produce a lesser concoction in an empty flask you touch. To determine the potion you produce, roll a number of times on the Lesser Concoction table equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of once) and use any one of the results.

Creating a lesser concoction requires you to have alchemist's supplies on your person and it lasts until it is drunk or until the end of your next short or long rest.

Frenzied Regeneration

At 3rd level your rage activates an alchemical alteration in your blood, healing your wounds rapidly. At the start of your turn while you are raging you regain hit points equal to half your barbarian level rounded up plus your Intelligence modifier. Additionally, if you have the blinded or deafened condition, they end.

When your rage ends, if you have any severed body members, (fingers, legs, tails, and so on) they are restored. If any body members were restored this way, you suffer one level of exhaustion.

Hardened Drinker

Starting at 6th level you gain the following benefits:

  • You are resistant to poison damage.
  • You are immune to disease and the poisoned condition.
  • You can use a bonus action instead of an action to drink a potion.

Reckless Improvisation

At 10th level you start experimenting on a larger scale. Whenever you finish a long rest, you can magically produce a greater concoction in an empty flask you touch. To determine the potion you produce, roll a number of times on the Greater Concoction table equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one) and use any one of the results.

Creating a greater concoction requires you to have alchemist's supplies on your person and it lasts until it is drunk or until the end of your next long rest.

Synthetic Rage

At 14th level the chemical compounds in your blood perpetuate your anger. Your rage does not end early if you are knocked unconscious.
