Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Born of the light and shadows, these are the masters of the arcane.

Innate Arcane Knowledge

You gain proficiency in Arcana, or expertise if you already have proficiency in that skill. You also gain the spell Identify which you can cast as a ritual even if you don't have ritual casting.

Arcane Favor

Starting at 1st level, divine power guards your destiny. If you fail a saving throw or miss with an attack roll, you can roll 2d4 and add it to the total, possibly changing the outcome.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Arcane Preservation

Starting at 6th level, when you expend sorcery points to fuel a metamagic option, you can choose to reduce the cost of the metamagic to 0, and you can do so a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per long rest.

Arcane Resilience

Also at 14th level, when you expend a spell slot to cast a spell of 1st level or higher you regain hit points equal to the spell slot level + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

Arcane Master

At 18th level, you have achieved such mastery over certain spells that you can cast them at will. Choose a 1st-level spell and a 2nd-level spell that you know. You can cast those spells at their lowest level without expending a spell slot. If you want to cast either spell at a higher level, you must expend a spell slot as normal.
