Base Class: Monk
Your monastery makes use of a training tool called a balance board, a simple wooden board used to 'balance' on things. You however, have found ways to manipulate it far beyond its intended purpose. You call it..Ki-Boarding..
Bonus Spell
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of a simple spell that helps you put your balance board back together and cleans up any deep scratches. You gain the mending cantrip if you don’t already know it.
Ki-Boarding
Beginning at 3rd level, you have learned the basics of Ki-Boarding. As an action, you can spend 1 Ki point to infuse your balance board with Ki. For 1 minute, you gain a hover speed equal to your walking speed while standing on it. The board floats a few inches above solid, mostly horizontal surfaces allowing you to move through most difficult terrain without costing any extra movement. Also, any effect that would knock you prone, knocks you off your board instead. If the board gets beyond 30 feet of you, the Ki dissipates and you must re infuse it.
At 9th level, you gain the ability to move along vertical surfaces and across liquids on your turn without falling during the move even while Ki-boarding.
SK.A.T.E.
At 3rd level, you learn to manipulate the board beneath your feet to perform dazzling maneuvers or "tricks" in combat. You learn two maneuvers of your choice from among those available to the Battle Master archetype in the fighter class. These are considered ki features that cost 1 ki point to use, use your Martial Arts dice instead of Superiority dice, and your Ki save DC for any maneuvers that require your target to make a saving throw to resist the maneuver's effects. You can only use one maneuver per attack, and only while ki-boarding unarmed or wielding monk weapons.
You learn one additional maneuver of your choice at 5th, 11th level, and 17th level in this class. Each time you learn a new maneuver, you can also replace one maneuver you know with a different one.
Kick, Push
By 6th level, you are becoming one with your board. While riding your ki-board, you have advantage on any saving throw made to resist being knocked off. Furthermore, standing up from prone only costs 5 feet of movement.
Thrasher
Beginning at 11th level, you have fallen off your board countless times making you a bit more resistant to bruising. You have resistance to bludgeoning damage from non magical sources.
Additionally, you can spend 4 ki points to cast fly on yourself while ki-boarding, without needing material components.
Gleaming the Cube
At 17th level you gain the ability to make an overwhelming number of attacks against a group of enemies by weaving through them, improving your Flurry of Blows ki feature in the following ways while Ki-Boarding:
-When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make up to three additional attacks with it (up to a total of five Flurry of Blows attacks), provided that each Flurry of Blows attack targets a different creature this turn.
-You gain the benefit of the Disengage action.
-Your walking speed increases by an additional 10 feet until the end of the current turn.
