Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Cuisine are some of the most prepared and creative individuals. These culinary bards tend to have stories brought to them over a hot meal, rather than a story sneakily stolen in shadow or spread over a spooky campfire story. But most of all, they know not to talk with their mouth full. The tales of where these bards have traveled are clearly expressed through the culture of their cuisine and with the company they share. As in life, all good bards know that stories are not most often told at libraries, but over a cold drink and a warm meal.

Compelling Aroma

Bonus Proficiencies - When you join the College of Cuisine at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Cook's Utensils, medium armor, and shields. You may use your Cook's Utensils as your spellcasting focus.

At 3rd level, you've developed an acute sense of smell and can subtly weave magic in the aromas you create. You are able to manipulate the aroma around you to enhance one's vitality and charm. When you spend one of your bardic inspiration die, you can instead target one allied creature in range and roll the bardic inspiration die. That targeted ally gains temporary hit points equal to the number rolled on the bardic inspiration die + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). This aroma lasts for 10 minutes or until dissipated by sufficient action, such a strong wind or a minute of continuous combat. Also, while the aroma is active the creature has advantage on Constitution saving throws and Charisma ability checks.

You also learn the Goodberry spell and it does not count against you number of known spells.

Second Breakfast

You bring out the fullness of each dish to give it the best flavor, texture, and scent, all the while restoring additional vitality to those who would otherwise have a poor diet. Whenever you take a short rest and use the Song of Rest feature, you can add your Constitution modifier to the total number rolled (minimum of 1).

You also learn the Create Food and Water spell and it does not count against the number of spells you know.

Master of Cuisine

You have further enhanced your senses and culinary talents to the point of perfection. Whenever you use Compelling Aroma, you gain additional benefits to your aroma:

The target of your compelling aroma has resistance to one damage type of your choice while the temporary hit points are active.
After you roll for temporary hit points, you can treat any role of your bardic inspiration die of 6 or lower as a 7.

You also learn the Hero's Feast spell and it does count against the spells you know.
