Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians are warriors and hunters of incredible strength. What martial expert would be complete without a bow. Path of the Quiver barbarians realize the advantage of using a ranged weapon. They are fearsome archers. While an elven ranger may be more precise, opponents of Quiver barbarians learn to fear an unclean shot.

Draw Weight

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can use your Strength modifier when making attacks with ranged weapons. This may be due to you being able to draw back the string of a bow farther, or your arm not getting tired from keeping a crossbow stable for long periods of time.

Distance Fighter

Beginning at 6th level, you learn to keep your friends close and your enemies out of sword reach. While raging, you can make a shove action as a bonus action. Additionally, while in rage, if you or a creature you see within 5ft of you is hit by a melee attack, you can shove the attacker away as a reaction, potentially making them miss due to being out of reach.

Piercing Shot

Beginning at 10th level, your strength channels into your arrows, allowing them to push through any obstacle. While raging, if you use Strength to make a ranged weapon attack, the attack ignores half and three-quarters cover. Additionally, if the target is not behind cover, the arrow can pass through and hit a target in a direct line behind them. The attack roll on the second target has disadvantage. This only works if the damage type is piercing.

Improvised Ammo

Starting at 14th level, your proficiency with ranged weapons allows you to get creative with what you load them with. You can fire any tiny item from your ranged weapon. The damage die is determined by the weapon and the damage type is determined by the item (For example, a rock would deal bludgeoning damage.)

Additionally, if your ranged weapon has the heavy property, you can load a grappled or willing creature of small size or smaller and fire them as an action. Whatever the creature hits takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage along with the creature. The creature also takes falling damage if they were shot above 30 ft. If the creature has a flying speed, they can stop themselves in midair. You can do this once per long rest.
