Oath of Nullification

The Oath of Nullification drives a paladin to the ideals of order and balance within the magical realm. Sometimes called witch hunters or mage seekers, these paladins go out of their way to ensure mages do not abuse their power against the defenseless.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Mage Breaker. As a bonus action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with nullifying energy, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you gain advantage on the next attack roll made against the creature that have cast a spell against you.

You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Enfeebled Magic. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer censuring spell casters using your Channel Divinity. Each hostile creature that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is weakened, lowering the DC of the next spell cast against friendly creatures by 2.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of Devotion Spells

Aura of Restoration

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you can’t be paralyzed while you are conscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Nullifying Counter

Beginning at 15th level, when you successfully cast counterspell on an enemy spell, you may absorb it gaining half the spells level, round up, as if you had cast absorb elements.

Nullifying Protection

At 20th level, you emanate a new aura in which you and friendly creatures in a 30ft radius have resistance to damage from spells.

And as a reaction after you successfully counterspell you may force down the casters spell DC by 1.
