Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Mostly the Soul Reavers generally have an evil alignment as they are warriors capable of absorbing the soul and energies of their enemy by "stealing" it. But there are exceptions in which a Soul Reaver could also have a good alignment, for example a warrior whose fame is to deteriorate the enemy, blow after blow through a bond that connects his soul with that of the contender.

Devour

Starting at 3rd level, you can drain the souls of your enemies when you enter your rage, and you can activate the effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action. You can choose one other creature you can see within 10 feet. The target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). The target takes 1d4 necrotic damage on a failed save, and you gain temporary hit points equal to half the necrotic damage dealt (rounded up). The damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 1d6 at 5th level, 1d8 at 10th, 1d10 at 15th level and 1d12 at 20th level. When your rage ends, you lose any remaining temporary hit points. This feature has no effect against undead or constructs. In addition, your rage doesn’t end early if you use your Devour feature since your last turn, but it still ends early if you fall unconscious.

Soul Shroud

At 3rd level, when you enter your rage a spectral veil appears around you, shrouding your body. You can use Wisdom instead of Dexterity of your Unarmored Defense for the duration of the rage. In addition, your rage doesn’t end early if you dealt damage with your Devour feature since your last turn, but it still ends early if you fall unconscious.

Reaver Strike

At 6th level, any creature you hit with a weapon attack has disadvantage on its next save it makes against your Devour feature until the start of your next turn.

Frightening Appearance

At 10th level, as an action you can frighten any enemy that you can see within 30 feet of you. Each creature that can see you must succeded a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or become frightened for the next minute. If a creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn't have line of sight on you, it can make a Wisdom save. On a success, the effect ends. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before using it again.

Vengeance Shroud

Starting at 14th level, if you are raging and a creature within 10 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, the creature takes necrotic damage equal to half your barbarian level.
