Base Class: Barbarian
The first warriors of this path were the dragonborn, who harnessed their draconic heritage into mighty strength. As time has passed, other warriors learned this path as well. Barbarians following the Path of the Dragon draw their power from their draconic blood, a draconic ancestor, a blessing from a dragon, or a spiritual connection to a dragon.
These Barbarians channel the power of dragons to destroy their foes. Their personality is often influenced by their draconic heritage or dragon that pushed them on this path. Among dragonborn, these barbarians are seen as champions of their clans while among non-dragonborn, this power can inspire fear, awe, or both.
Draconic Presence
When you adopt this path, you choose a totem spirit and gain its feature. You must make or acquire a physical totem object — an amulet or similar adornment — that incorporates scales, claws, teeth, or bones of the totem Dragon.
Draconic Presence
At level 3, others can sense your growing draconic connection. You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill if you don't already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses Intimidation.
Additionally, you gain the power of one specific type of dragon from the table below.
Black Dragon
Far and away the most vile tempered and cruel of all chromatic dragons. They have the ability to expel a jet of highly corrosive acid.
Blue Dragon
Orderly creatures and are unusual for chromatics in that they keep fairly well-ordered, hierarchical societies. They use a shocking burst of lightning.
Brass Dragon
Weakest of the metallic dragons, and also one of the most benign of all species of dragon. They loved to talk, to the exclusion of most else. They loved to engage friends and foes alike in hours of long-winded conversation. It was not unusual for a brass dragon to be fluent in several hundred different languages. They can consume enemies with their fire breath.
Bronze Dragon
Curious and inquisitive, they possessed a strong sense of justice and did not tolerate any form of cruelty. They use a shocking burst of lightning.
Copper Dragon
Even-tempered and sociable. They were well known for playing pranks and telling jokes and riddles. They enjoyed a good joke, riddle, funny story, or any form of good humor or wit, but became annoyed if someone didn't laugh at a joke that they made or take their pranks well. They have the ability to expel a jet of highly corrosive acid.
Gold Dragon
Strongest and most majestic of the metallic dragons, and were considered the apex of the draconic race. Graceful and wise, they were relentless and dedicated foes of evil, injustice, and foul play. While respected for their fairness and knowledge, they were also grim and reserved, and usually avoided casual contact with other dragons. They can consume enemies with their fire breath.
Green Dragon
Master manipulators who reveled in corrupting lesser creatures and hoarding them like possessions. They release a poisonous cloud of chlorine gas.
Red Dragon
The largest and most powerful of the chromatic dragons, they were also the most fearsome and cruel often delighted in ruin, death and destruction. They can consume enemies with their fire breath.
Silver Dragon
Enjoying the company of humans and elves so much that it would often take the form of a human or elf and live among them for the majority of its life. Its breath freezing breath stops its enemies cold.
White Dragon
Physically the smallest of chromatic dragons, they were often more feral and animalistic as well. It's icy breath could freeze a foe solid.
Draconic Fury
Starting at 3rd level, when you enter a rage you create an aura around you that damages any creature within 5ft. When any creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Dexterity (DC12) saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes damage equal to the table below.
Draconic Fury
| Barbarian Level | Damage |
|---|---|
| 3rd | 1d4 |
| 5th | 1d6 |
| 9th | 1d8 |
| 13th | 1d10 |
| 17th | 1d12 |
Gift of the Dragon
Your dedication to honoring the dragon has earned you it's boon. Your physical presence begins to resemble that of a dragon as your skin toughens into scales and your eyes narrow and gain silted pupils.
At 6th level when you adopt this path, your draconic affinity hardens your skin and you gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your Strength modifier. You cannot gain this bonus if you are wearing armor.
You can also speak, read, and write Draconic.
Dragon Terror
Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to frighten enemies around you. Choose any creatures that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 12) or be frightened of you. The creature can make a saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If the creature succeeds on its saving throw or is no longer frightened, you can't use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
Dragon Flight
At 14th level, once per Long rest, you gain the ability to sprout a pair of dragon wings from your back for 1 hour, gaining a flying speed of 50ft.
You can’t manifest your wings while wearing armor, and any clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.
Dive Attack. While flying, if you dive at least 30 feet straight toward a target and successfully hit it with a melee weapon attack, you may either; deal an extra weapon damage die, push the target 10ft in the direction you are diving, or knock the target prone.
