Strength of Winter
At 3rd level, a Winter Knight is the epitome of Winter’s Strength. All paladin abilities use your strength modifier in lieu of your charisma modifier.
Touch of Ice
Starting at 3rd level, your skin is cold to the touch. You don’t need to have water or ice material components for any spells cast.
Ray of Frost
At 3rd level you gain the ray of frost cantrip at will. Strength is your spellcasting modifier for this spell.
Blade of Ice
Starting at 3rd level, as an action, you can focus your winter powers into a blade of Ice. This blade must have either the two handed property or the versatile property. The blade does 2d6 cold damage. You use your strength modifier on the attacks and damage with this weapon. The damage increases by 1d6 at 5th level (3d6), 11th level (4d6), and 17th level (5d6). This blade can be used as your spellcasting focus for your other spells and abilities. You can summon this blade at will.
Aura of Frost
At 7th level, you emit an aura of frost when you are not incapacitated. At the start of each turn, you and every chosen ally within 10’ of you is covered in a thin layer of frost. This frost gives you temporary hit points equal to the paladin’s charisma modifier as well as gain resistance to cold damage. At 18th level this increases to 30’.
Purity of the First Snow
Starting at 15th, at the start of each round, you are cured of all diseases and poisons effecting you. If you are less than half hit points at the start of your turn you gain hit points equal to your strength modifier.
Mantle of Winter
At 20th level, as a bonus action, you can summon the Mantle of Winter which lasts for 10 minutes. Your Snow Storm Aura is triggered as is your Strength of Winter ability without expendin channel divinity charges. If you have not already summoned your Blade of Ice it is summoned as part of the action needed to trigger your Mantle of Winter. In addition, you gain 100 temporary hit points and gain resistance to all damage. You add your charisma modifier to attacks and damage dealt with your Blade of Ice. You also gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your strength modifier.

Posted Dec 15, 2021The idea was to always have a weapon at hand as you can literally pull one from the moisture in the air. As for the spear, it depends on if you classify it as a blade. But most importantly if you can get it by (or work with your DM/GM) have fun with it.
