ULTIMATE POWER

Unarmed Savagery

Primal energy surges through your muscles, filling your body with the strength of the mountains. Starting at 3rd level, your unarmed strikes use a 1d4 for attack. This raises to a 2d4 at 6th level, 1d10 at 10th level, and 2d6 at 14th level. Your unarmed attacks deal thunder damage in addition to dealing bludgeoning damage. You gain the following options when using an unarmed strike while raging:

  • When you hit a target with your unarmed strike, you can use your bonus action to push the target. The creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be pushed back 5 feet or knock it prone. You can use this on a huge or smaller creature.
  • If you fall at least ten feet during your turn as a result of your movement, you may use you action to make an unarmed attack against a creature within 5 feet of you as you land. The creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be knocked prone. This ability can only be applied to the first attack made after the fall.

Mountain's Prowess

Time spent on the mountain has hardened your body in several ways. You gain the following benefits:

  • You gain a climb speed of 30.
  • You have advantage on Strength (athletics) checks involving long jumps, high jumps, and climbing.
  • You add your proficiency bonus to the distance of long and high jumps.
  • You gain resistance to lightning, thunder, and cold damage while raging.

Lightning Charge

While raging, when you charge a foe and use an unarmed attack, you deal an additional 3d6 lightning damage to the target and any enemies within 5 feet of it.

Thunderous Defense

Attunement with the mountains has given you thundering fortitude. When struck by an attack, you can use your reaction to counterattack. Make an attack against them if they are within 5 feet of you. If you hit, they take an additional 1d10 thunder damage and are pushed 20 feet and knocked prone. This damage increases to 2d10 damage at 14th level. You cannot use this feature again until you take a short rest.

Storm Rage

The storm brews within you. Visions of lightning-wracked mountain peaks fill your vision and you are imbued with a surge of primal energy. When you activate rage, you can choose to surround yourself with an aura of lightning that reaches ten feet around you. Any enemies that start their turn within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or take 1d8 lightning damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. Creatures with total cover are unaffected. This damage increases to 2d8 at 18th level. The effect lasts for as long as your rage lasts and you must take a short or long rest to use this feature again.
