Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

This subclass is designed specifically for Milkmeat Ironslab.

Though he was raised by halflings, he cannot escape his genetics. As a very strong half-orc, he always seemed suited to be a barbarian. But as a skilled artisan, a lover of art, and an aspiring man of intellect, Milkmeat has a different destiny ahead of him.

This is the Barbarian Path of the Gentleman Cobbler.

"Why, sir, cobble you."

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your knack for shoe repair extends to repairing other things. Using cobbler's tools, you can cast the Mending cantrip.

Looking Sharp

Starting at 3rd level, you are a master at ensuring your team looks their best. You can polish their armor, fix their collars, and sharpen their swords with intimidating precision - even in the heat of battle!

You can use the Help action as a bonus action on your turn while you are raging. The creature you aid must be within 5 feet of you when you use this ability.

Mender of Souls

Beginning at 6th level, you can spend 10 minutes grooming up to 6 creatures (including yourself), to boost confidence and team morale. For 1 hour whenever a creature you groomed makes a Charisma check, they can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

You are a Gentleman AND a Scholar

At 10th level, you're well on your way to becoming a true renaissance man. You have studied, and trained your mind to match your strength. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 to a maximum of 20.

You learn one language of your choice.

At 10th level you also gain proficiency in two Intelligence-based skills of your choosing, from the following: Arcana, History, Nature, or Religion. You can choose one more skill at level 12, and the fourth at level 14.

Arcana Proficiency

You are proficient in the Arcana skill.

History Proficiency

You are proficient in the History skill.

Nature Proficiency

You are proficient in the Nature skill.

Religion Proficiency

You are proficient in the Religion skill.

"You Scuffed My Shoe..."

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
