Base Class: Bard
You are a performer of the Circus. From strongmen, to trapeze artists, to animal tamers, the circus houses many people of talent. Bards from the College of the Circus are experts of movement and performance to enamor their audience. Contorting their bodies and climbing at extreme speeds at the disbelief of their watchers. These bards' performances may be fun and jovial, but they train rigorously to perfect their craft.
Many Talents
3rd-level College of the Circus feature
You are a performer at heart. Entertaining others with your talents. When you make a Charisma (Performance) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. Depending on your training, you may pick an additional skill and have the same effect. Choose between Strength (Athletics) checks, Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks, or Wisdom (Animal Handling) checks.
Talent - Acrobatics
When making an Acrobatics check, treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Talent - Animal Handling
When making an Animal Handling check, treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as 10.
Talent - Athletics
When making an Athletics check, treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as 10.
Hard to Hit
3rd-level College of the Circus feature
You are able to bend and contort your body, making you harder to hit. As a reaction to being the target of an attack roll, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and add the roll of the Bardic Inspiration die to your armor class.
Escape Artist
6th-level College of the Circus feature
When a creature misses its attack against you, you can disengage as a free action and move up to your movement speed. You begin a series of flips and rolls out of the way of danger. If during this movement, another creature targets you with an opportunity attack and misses that attack, your can again move up to your movement speed.
Nimble Movement
6th-level College of the Circus feature
The best performers use the whole stage. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet. Climbing also no longer costs extra movement.
Opportunists
14th-level College of the Circus feature
You know when to seize an opportunity. Your nimble escapes from danger now grant you a chance to attack on the move. When using the Escape Artist feature, you can make one attack during your movement. Making this attack costs 10 feet of your Escape Artist movement.
