Base Class: Monk
As vampires drain blood from their opponents, Ki Vampires are monks that drain ki from their opponents. Not all creatures have ki though, and these monks have learned how to drain power to some enemies abilities and from some enemies very aura.
Ki Drain
The most efficient way to drain ki points is literally to steal them from your opponent. Starting at 3rd level, when you hit an opponent, if they have a ki pool there is a 25% chance that you drain three ki point from them and you gain three ki point. This can happen multiple times per round. Any ki points above your maximum remain for 1 hour or until used, whichever comes first.
Ability Drain
Most creatures do not have ki points, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have energy to drain. By draining the ability to recharge from their opponents, Ki Vampires can use this energy to turn it into ki points. Starting at 3rd level, when you hit an opponent that does not have a ki pool, but does have an ability that recharges (ie recharge 5-6), there is a 20% chance of stealing power from their ability. They recharge at one higher die number (instead of recharge on 5-6 the ability becomes recharge on 6) for one round. If it was already a recharge on 6 they do not have a chance to recharge it this round. You gain two ki point. This can happen multiple times per round. Any ki points above your maximum remain for 1 hour or until used, whichever comes first.
Aura Drain
For those who have neither ki pools nor recharging abilities the Ki Vampires have learned to drain their opponents very life force, what some would call their life aura. While there is no efficiency in this method of transfer, they still manage to gain some ki from this ability. Starting at 3rd level, when you hit an enemy that doesn’t have a ki pool, doesn’t have an ability that recharges or has an empty ki pool, there is a 15% chance that your opponent has some of their aura stolen. This causes them to have disadvantage on attacks for one round. You gain 1 ki point. This can happen multiple times per round. Any ki points above your maximum remain for 1 hour or until used, whichever comes first.
Life Drain
Starting at 6th level, when you regain ki points due to the abilities gained in this subclass, you also heal hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. This can happen multiple times per round. You can gain this bonus once per successful attack.
Improved Drain
Starting At 6th level, your Ki Drain ability improves to 50%. Your Ability Drain ability improves to 40%. Your Aura Drain ability improves to 30%.
Armor Drain
Starting at 11th level, when you regain ki points due to the abilities gained in this subclass, you also improve your armor class by +1 until the beginning of your next turn. You can gain this bonus once per successful attack.
Greater Drain
Starting At 11th level, your Ki Drain ability improves to 75%. Your Ability Drain ability improves to 60%. Your Aura Drain ability improves to 45%.
Ki Vampire
Starting at 17th level you become a vampire of ki. Your Ki Drain works 100% of the time and drains 6 ki each use and you regain 6 ki on each use. Your Ability Drain ability works 80% of the time and regain 4 ki each use. Your Aura Drain ability works 60% of the time and you regain 2 ki each use. Your Life Drain ability heals hit points per ki point regained. Your Armor Drain ability gains armor class per ki point regained. Any ki points above your maximum remain for 1 hour or until used, whichever comes first.
