Bard
Base Class: Bard

Conductors. Choreographers. Politicians. These performers all share the core tenant of the college of Symphony: the power to lead. Masters of the stage and masters of the battlefield, this college is most attributed to the art of direction, control, and timing. Whether leading a chorus, conducting an orchestra, or riling up a crowd, the College of Symphony teaches its bards the importance of uniting a performance together and the beauty created, or power gained, from the effort of the whole.

Presto (Rise the Tempo)

When you join the College of Symphony at 3rd level, you gain the direction of a powerful conductor and can lead people through the power of your performance.

A creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you may instead roll the die to increase their movement speed until the end of the turn by an amount equal to 5 times the number rolled on the die.

In addition, whenever you make a Charisma (Performance) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Adagio (Drop the Tempo)

Also at 3rd level, you learn how to harness your performance to hinder your enemies. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you attempts to use its movement speed, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting an amount of movement speed equal to 5 times the number rolled until the end of the creature's turn. If this ability drops a creature to 0 total movement speed or below, the creature cannot use any of its movement this turn. In addition, any creature affected by this ability, regardless of its current movement speed, cannot take the dash action until the start of its next turn.

Intense Performance

At 6th level, the intensity of your performance grows, granting you power while you continue to focus on it. At the beginning of your turn, if you are maintaining concentration, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Charisma modifier (minimum of 2). If you begin your next turn with any of these temp hit points remaining, you regain hit points equal to the temp remaining. If you are already at maximum hp, your temp hp will remain and will stack with any new temp hp gained from this feature (to a maximum stack of 20).

Lost in Symphony

Starting at 14th level, you and other creatures around you are utterly lost in your performance. Whenever you use Adagio (Drop the Tempo), you may have the affected creature make a charisma saving throw or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

In addition, you can no longer lose concentration from taking damage.
