Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

As a rogue protector, you focus on magical skills of protection while staying silent. part one, be quiet, part two be safe, part three, kick ass.

Magic Shield

when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you may use a reaction to raise your Armor Class by 2.

Unarmored Defense

at 3rd level, while you are not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your dexterity modifier + your intelligence modifier

Defensive Stance

As you reach 9th level, you begin to hone your skills in a particular way. choose one of the options below.

Alone

you prefer to protect yourself over others. Whenever a creature would successfully land an attack on you, you may use your reaction to roll a d10 and add the result to your Armor Class potentially causing the attack to miss. If the attack misses, you may have the creature take up to half the damage, rounded down.

Together

you have chosen to hone your abilities to help all, not just yourself. As an action on your turn, you may create a wall of magic that blocks damage. the wall can be the length of your level times five feet wide and half your level, rounded up, tall. nothing can pass through the wall except projectiles of your choice. the wall has 75 hit points and an AC of 18. once used, this ability can not be used again until you finish a long rest.

Defensive Style

when you reach 13th level you may choose either Together or Alone below based on your decision at level nine.

Alone

You have almost mastered the skill of dodging. If a spell or ability requires you to make saving throw, you may treat any roll lower than 13 on your dice as a 13.

Together

you have learned how to keep those around you safe for a cost. If one of your allies are hit with an attack, you may use your reaction to prevent the damage dealt to that ally. when you do you take psychic damage equal to half the damage prevented.

Apart

Untochable

At 17th level you have discovered how to become nearly untouchable. you gain resistance to necrotic, radiant, force, lightning, thunder, acid, poison, fire and cold damage. you also gain resistance to slashing, piercing and bludgeoning from non-magical weapons
