Bard
Base Class: Bard

A halfling clad in rough and frozen studded leather is at a dead end climbing the side of a great alp, trapped by a horde of oncoming goblins, until suddenly an enormous boulder rolls down the mountain, crushing the entire army. A tiefling woman wielding an instrument of great power attempts to fire off a spell, en route to miss and hit the wall behind the vampire,  until he is bashed into by his ally pushing him straight towards the bolt of fire. A gambler in a top hat is on a fortunate streak with his lucky dice until a new gentleman with an instrument and a smile enters the casino and is suddenly the talk of the town. Each of these bards have one thing in common, they use the power of fate to enhance themselves. Be it pure luck, an assistance in the fight, or just full fate manipulation; these bards excel at keeping themselves and their allies alive and being detrimental to the enemies.

Fateful Discernment

You're insight into fate allows a greater insight into others. You can tell what people want with short and intermittent visions into the near future, as well as what makes people tick. You gain proficiency in insight and persuasion.

Touch of the Moirai

Your hands have become extensions of your instrument and furthermore extensions of fate. You can take an action to alter fate in a 30-foot radius around you. Choose a number of creatures up to your remaining bardic inspiration. Allied creatures you choose will receive D20  die, that they can roll anytime in the next minute for ability checks, saving throws and attack rolls.. Hostile creatures you choose must roll the next attack roll, ability check or saving throw they make with disadvantage. Once you use this action, you lose a number of bardic inspiration equal to the number of creatures affected by this action.

Rhythm of the life

By sixth level, your ability to sense alterations of fate and the natural order is greater than most. You can spend ten minutes to open your senses to the presence of aberrations and undead in a near vicinity. Any undead and aberrations within half a mile of your location (2640 feet) who aren't behind certain barriers. 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood blocks this ability. You can use this ability a number of times equal to half your charisma modifier, rounded down (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Locum Tenens

At 14th level, you can use your knowledge of fate to shield a creature from it's consequences. If a creature you can see within 60ft would take damage that reduces their hit points to zero, you may use your reaction to expend a use of bardic inspiration and protect them. The target creature takes no damage, but you take the full amount minus one roll of your bardic inspiration as force damage. You have also honed your manipulation of the fates to a nigh impossible level to match. Whenever you use your Touch of the Moirai ability, the range increases to 90 feet and you can use it as a bonus action.
