Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your close encounter with a powerful disease or noxious monster has left you with a piece of it in your being, shielding you from illness and granting control over poisons.

Pestilent Resilience

Starting at 1st level, your diseased being fortifies you against illness. You have resistance to poison damage, immunity to the poisoned condition, and advantage on saving throws against disease.

Persistent Pathogens

Starting at 1st level when you choose this subclass, your poisons linger and spread. Whenever a spell you cast deals poison damage to a creature, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or become poisoned for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus plus the spell's level, or until you lose concentration as if concentrating on a spell. If the spell would already apply the poisoned condition, the duration is increased by a number of rounds equal to the spell's level instead.

Virulent Miasma

The plague spirit within you grants the power to spread the poisons you deliver. As a bonus action, you may spend 2 sorcery points and select a poisoned creature within 30 feet of you. Another creature within 10 feet of it must make a constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, a target takes 2d4 poison damage and becomes poisoned fa number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus or until you lose concentration (as if concentrating on a spell). On a successful save, a target takes half as much damage and is not poisoned. You may target any number of creatures within 10 feet of the first target, but you must spend 1 additional sorcery point for each target beyond the first. You may have a number of creatures equal to your charisma modifier poisoned in this way. Concentration on this feature is not interrupted by using it again.

Burning Veins

When you reach 14th level, you can cause poisons to surge through the veins of those around you. As an action you may expend 2 sorcery points to deal 2d6 poison damage to each poisoned creature of your choice within 60 feet of you. Each of those creatures must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or become blinded and deafened until the end of your next turn.

Form of the Reaper

When you reach 14th level in this class, you gain the ability to take on a new transformation. As a bonus action, you may expend 4 sorcery points and gain the following benefits for the next minute:

  • You know the location of all poisoned creatures within 120 feet of you that aren't behind total cover
  • Poisoned creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you are frightened of you
  • You gain a flying speed of 30 feet with the hover trait
  • Whenever you hit with a spell attack with a spell of 1st level or higher, that spell deals an additional 1d6 poison damage.
