Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You have trained in specialty techniques which combine equal parts armed combat, martial arts, and espionage. Unlike most rogues shinobi's diverse training allows them to single-handedly challenge entire battalions of trained warriors. This is what has allowed shinobi, the most ancient form of rogue, to last through the centuries.

Cunning Maneuvers

Starting at 3rd level, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to make a Strength (Athletics) check to climb, jump, or make the shove or grapple attack, instead using Dexterity (Acrobatics).

Fighting Style

At 9th level, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again.

Archery

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Two-Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

Shadow of the Night

By 13th level, you have learned to escape sight with lightning speed. Immediately after being seen by a creature for the first time sense your last short or long rest, you can use your reaction to move up to half your movement speed and take the hide action. If you successfully hide the creature is not made aware of your presence.

You may only use this feature if you are aware that you have been seen.

Roundhouse

Starting at 17th level, as an action on your turn you can make 5 strikes. Each strike hits a creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of you. All targets take 1d6 + your Dexterity modifier bludgeoning damage and must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier) or be pushed up to 10 feet away from you and knocked prone. Once you use this feature you can’t again until you finish a short or long rest.
