Base Class: Wizard
Not all magical tutors wear robes. Wizards from the School of Beneficium, known as Beneficers, learn from lesser celestials. These unorthodox tutors teach Beneficers only the most noble of magics. Most Beneficers study under Unicorns, Hollyphants, and Couatls.
Like all Wizards, Beneficers crave knowledge. Unlike a normal Wizard who may haggle with coin for arcane knowledge, a Beneficer brings healing and bounty to a community, and relies on the goodwill this engenders to gain what they seek. Not that a Beneficer needs any sort of reward to offer air or succor. In fact, such an attitude would rob them of their valued instructors, for no self-respecting celestial would share their knowledge with the truly selfish.
Couatl's Teachings
A Couatl introduced you to the celestial world and helped you hone your senses.
Starting at 2nd level, you can cast Detect Magic at will. You also gain proficiency in the Religion skill and learn to speak, read, and write Celestial.
Unicorn's Touch
When you select this arcane tradition at 2nd level, you gain the ability to mimic the healing abilities of a Unicorn you befriended.
As an action, you touch another creature and suffuse it with vitality. The target magically regains 2d8 + your Wizard level in hit points. In addition, the touch removes all diseases and neutralizes all poisons afflicting the target. You can do so a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Hollyphant's Trumpet
You learned from a Hollyphant how to smite your enemies with radiant energy.
At 6th level, you can convert the damage from any spell you cast to radiant damage. Doing so renders the spell incapable of harming Good creatures, but Evil creatures have disadvantage on any saving throws related to the converted spell. Also, you add your Intelligence modifier (minimum of +1) to the damage roll of cantrips that deal radiant damage.
Celestial Spellcasting
You have learned the spells of your celestial tutors.
Beginning at 10th level, when your prepare your spells for the day, you can prepare any spell known by a Unicorn, a Couatl, or a Hollyphant. You can only prepare a spell if you have the spell slots to cast it. You can prepare a maximum of three celestial spells and they do count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.
If you prepare a spell that doesn't appear on the Wizard spell list, the spell is nonetheless a Wizard spell for you. You cannot inscribe these spells into your spellbook. If you create a spell scroll from a non-Wizard spell, other Wizards cannot copy from these scrolls into their spellbooks.
Finest Student
At 14th level, you fully internalize the teachings of your celestial tutors.
You have resistance to radiant damage, immunity to poison, and gain a fly speed of 30ft.
