Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The elemental sorcerers of Mereth’Adrona are more proficient with magics attuned to a specific elemental force (earth, air, fire, water) than others. Indeed, these sorcerers develop specific abilities based on the element that has infused their bloodline.

Child of Stone

You, or your ancestors, have been infused with magic by an Earth elemental. You are resolute, firm and unyielding. You are slow to anger, but once provoked, you are the stonefall on the mountain.

As a Child of Stone, your bloodline grants you the understanding of the Primordial tongue. You can speak, read and write Primordial. In addition, you double your proficiency bonus for CHA checks involving elementals.

Stone’s Embrace

As magic flows through your body, it causes the physical traits of your elemental infusion to emerge. At 1st level, your Constitution score increases by 1 point. Also, your hit point maximum increases by 2 and increases by 2 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

Furthermore, parts of your skin are covered by hard and rough stone-like patches. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity and Constitution modifiers. Additionally, you know the Stone's Throw cantrip. This spell does not count as one of your Known Spells.

Elemental Affinity

Upon your path of elemental mastery, you have discovered certain elemental affinity abilities, a deeper understanding of the elemental power that permeates your body. This affinity imbues you with an abiding magical ability. Upon reaching level 6 choose one option from the list below.

Armor of Stone

Your flesh has become like stone. When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 10 plus your Dexterity, Constitution, and Charisma modifiers.

Defender's Stones

A defensive version of the Stone's Throw spell, the Defender's Stones spell launches a fist-sized stone at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target creature. On a successful hit, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage and is pushed backwards 10' in a straight line.

Shrapnel Thrower

A more powerful version of the Stone's Throw spell, your Shrapnel Thrower hurls a cluster of finger-sized stones at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target creature. On a successful hit, the target takes 1d10+ your CHA modifier bludgeoning damage.

Siege Thrower

A long-range version of the Stone's Throw spell, the Siege Thrower spell hurls a fist-sized stone toward a creature within range, equal to 300 feet. Make a ranged spell attack against the target creature. On a successful hit, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage.

Stone’s Resilience

Upon reaching level 6, your flesh has become hardened. Tough and resilient, you are resistant to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage.

Stoneborn

At 14th level your affinity with the element of earth has become so strong that as a bonus action you can infuse yourself with the power of stone, in essence becoming stone yourself. This effect lasts until you release the magic empowering you as a bonus action.

While in this stone form, you count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. Additionally, you are immune to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage and your AC equals 13 plus your Dexterity, Constitution and Charisma modifiers.

Brother Earth

By level 18, your bond with the Elemental Plane of earth has become so strong that you are able to open a gateway to it, and summon forth a denizen to serve you. The Earth elemental will obey you as per the spell Summon Elemental, with the exception that it does not require concentration. This means you will not loose control of the Elemental. The Elemental will serve you for one hour, until it is reduced to 0 Hit Points, or you dismiss it. This ability is available once per long rest.
