Circle of the Feather

Druids come in all shapes and sizes.  Some focus on the balance of elements in nature, others in the ability to change into one of nature’s beasts.  Druids who follow the Circle of the Feather honor the birds in the sky.

Feather Shot

Starting at 2nd level you gain a special attack.  This allows you to shoot a magical feather as an attack.  This attack has a ranged of 120 feet and deals 1d6 magical piercing damage per point of proficiency bonus.  The attack is based on your dexterity modifier and requires an action to use. This can only be used when in an animal form that has feathers, if you have your personal wings summoned, are mounted on your feathered steed (where you command your steed to use this attack) or if you have some sort of feathered cloak (either a magic item or a mundane one).

Avian Eyesight

Starting at 3rd level, your eyesight improves like that of your feathered allies.  You gain advantage on perception checks that involve sight.  You also gain darkvision 60 feet.  If you already have darkvision then it increases by 60 feet.

Summon Feathered Steed

Starting at 6th level you learn to summon a feathered steed.  This steed can be a Giant eagle, giant owl or other feathered beast.  This acts as the find greater steed spell.  This can be cast using a spell slot as normal or you can use one of your wild shape uses to activate it.

Personal Wings

Starting at 10th level you learn how to summon a pair of large feathered wings.  You gain a fly speed equal to your walking speed. If you are wearing armor this set of wings cannot be summoned unless the armor has been custom tailored to allow for them.  You can summon or dismiss your Personal Wings as a bonus action.

Feathered Scion

Starting at 14th level you can use a wild shape to become a Feathered Scion for 1 minute.  Your base armor class is 15 + your dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus.  Your feather shot can target two creatures simultaneously, assuming they are within 15 feet of each other.  If you are within 10 feet of an avian you both gain a bonus to your attacks and damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
