Your dedicated studies have made you well-versed in a wide variety of academic and intellectual contexts.
Whenever you make an ability check that uses Intelligence, add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to the roll, even if you would already add your proficiency bonus to that roll.
For example, a 5th level character who has an Intelligence score of 16 and is proficient in History but is not proficient in Investigation would have a +7 bonus when making a History check and a +4 bonus when making an investigation check, as opposed to what would usually be a +6 and a +3 bonus respectively.
Multidisciplinary Initiate
At 2nd level, your study of magic begins to go beyond the capacity of an ordinary wizard. Choose one cantrip and one 1st level spell to learn from any class, including this one. The chosen cantrip and spell do not have to be from the same class.
The chosen spell is recorded in your spellbook and counts as a wizard spell for you. It can be recorded again by you as if it were a wizard spell, but other wizards are unable to decipher your seemingly mad scribblings.

When you cast a spell on your turn, you can use your bonus action make a DC 10 Intelligence saving throw. If you succeed, you may cast a cantrip at the same time as the spell being cast. If you fail, you take 1d12 psychic damage, plus an additional 1d12 psychic damage for each previous successful use of this ability.
Each time you use this feature after the first, the DC increases by 5. When you finish a long rest, the DC resets to 10.
