Disclaimer: My name is Raphael & I am using D&D beyond to easily catalogue some of the classes I have been homebrewing. Now in all honesty, quite a lot of my homebrew is either directly taken or influenced by pre-existing homebrew. I am just using this space to easily keep track of my homebrew subclasses that I use in my specific world that I’ve created. Most of the homebrew is homebrew I actually made myself, however if you would like to use it or catalogue it for yourself, please feel free to!
Fates Decide
Beginning at 3rd level, your Valkyrian powers grant you the ability to save those in battle. You learn the Spare the Dying cantrip.
Divine Decider
Beginning at 3rd level, you no longer rage, instead, you replace your rage with Divine Decider. Divine Decider follows all the same rules as rage, except for the following exceptions:
- You have advantage on Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws instead of Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- Your rage damage now deals radiant or necrotic damage (your choice when you activate this ability) instead of the weapon's damage type.
- Divine Decider only ends early if you end it as a bonus action, 1 minute has passed, or you are knocked unconsious.
- You can cast spells while using Divine Decider, but these spells can only be used to stabilize, resurrect or restore hit points to a creature.
- While you are using Divine Decider, whenever you cast spare the dying to stabilize a creature, that creature regains one hit point.
Blessed Assistance
Beginning at 6th level, Whenever you are using your divine decider ability, if you, or a creature within 60ft of you fails a saving throw you can spend your reaction to reroll the save and the new roll must be used. You can only use this ability twice per Divine Decider use.
Chooser of the Slain
At level 10, your mastery over the forces of life & death now becomes a detriment to your enemies. Whenever a creature attempts to stabilize or heal another creature within 60ft of you, you can use one of your uses of Blessed assistance, as a reaction, to magically destabilize the attempt, in a contest. Both you and the creature you are attempting to sabotage must roll d20's. You add your proficiency bonus and wisdom modifier to your roll, the other creature must add their medicine skill bonus to theirs. If your roll is higher, the creature’s spell slot, use of a healer’s kit, use of a potion or use of a class feature (etc). destabilizes and doesn't cause a creature to regain any hit points.
Heavenly Keen
At 10th level, you learn to channel divine power to inspire zealotry in others. As a bonus action, you unleash a battle cry infused with divine energy. Up to four other creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you that can hear you gain advantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the start of your next turn. You can use this feature once per long rest.
Hinderance of Death
At 14th level, even the gods have decided to leave your life in your hands. You gain advantage on any death saving throw you make.
Valkyrian Presence
Also at 14th level, while using your divine decider ability and within 60ft of an unstable creature that you can see, you can use your bonus action to impose advantage or disadvantage to the creature’s death saving throws until the start of your next turn.
