Druid
Base Class: Druid

A special circle of druidic magic exclusive to awakened beasts.

Tame Shape

You can freely shift between your creature and humanoid form as a bonus action. If you are reduced to 0 hit points in either form, you revert to the other and no damage is carried over but you can't use this feature again until you take a short or long rest.

Natural Recovery

Starting at 2nd level, you can regain some of your magical energy by sitting in meditation and communing with nature. During a short rest, you choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your druid level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

For example, when you are a 4th-level druid, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level slot or two 1st-level slots.

Beastial Connection

Being a beast originally yourself, you have a greater capability of understanding other beasts than most. You have the ability to cast Speak with Animals at will, you always have it prepared, and it does not count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. You also have advantage on (Wisdom) Animal Handling checks and Charisma based skill checks when dealing with animals.

Tame Shape Improvement

You can manifest specific traits from your creature form into your humanoid form.

Agile Legs: Your legs and feet morph to resemble those of a feline which grant a similar gracefulness. You have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks that rely on moving silently and Dexterity saving throws to avoid falling prone

Claws: Your hands grow sharp claws which are natural weapons that use DEX and deal 1d6 plus your dexterity modifier. In addition, when you make an attack with your claws, you can take a second swipe as a bonus action. If used in conjunction with Agile Legs, also grants a climbing speed of 20 feet. While your claws are out you cannot wield any other weapons.

Keen Senses: You manifest the eyes, ears, and/or nose of your creature form. You gain Darkvision and proficiency in the Perception skill.

Tail: If your creature form has a tail, you can grow a tail with similar uses to the original.

Tame Shape Improvement

Your refined control of Tame Shape and increased capabilities with Wild Shape inspire you. The animalistic traits you manifest in your humanoid form are improved.

Agile Legs: The explosive power in your hindquarters allows you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns. Additionally, you can choose whether your jump distance is determined by your Dexterity or Strength score, and making a standing jump does not halve the distance you can cover.

Claws: Your claws have become sharper, and harder. Your claw attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. The damage they deal also increases to 1d8 plus your Dexterity modifier.

Keen Senses: Your senses are sharpened further. You gain Superior Darkvision and can double your proficiency bonus when making Perception checks, but you have disadvantage on Constitution saving throws against effects such as blinding light, deafening sound, and noxious gasses.

Tail: Your tail becomes fully prehensile if it wasn't already, and can support your full weight.

Animal Sanctuary

When you reach 14th level, creatures of the natural world sense your connection to nature and become hesitant to attack you. When a beast attacks you, that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your druid spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature must choose a different target or the attack misses, and is charmed by you. If you or one of your companions harms the target, the spell ends. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

The creature is aware of this effect before it makes its attack against you.
