Base Class: Sorcerer
Reflavor of Storm Sorcerer for a Lithomancy- based character
Your magic springs from a mystical link between your soul and the magic of elemental earth. You might trace a distant ancestor to the Plane of Earth, or your family might have earned a mighty boon in return for a service to the dao lords. Whatever your past, the magic of elemental earth, from magma beneath the earth to metal minerals within bedrock, yours to command. Your link to earth magic grants you extraordinary resilience, and stone sorcerers have a natural affinity for combat.
Stone Speaker
The arcane magic you command is infused with elemental earth. You can speak, read, and write Primordial. Knowing this language allows you to understand and be understood by those who speak its dialects: Aquan, Auran, Ignan, and Terran.
Tectonic Magic
Starting at 1st level, you can use a bonus action on your turn, immediately before or after you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, to cause the energy of the spell to affect the ground beneath you to move and propel you. Doing so allows you to fly up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Heart of the Mountain
At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire and bludgeoning damage. In addition, whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals fire or bludgeoning damage, the earth erupts around you. This eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take fire or bludgeoning damage (choose each time this ability activates) equal to half your sorcerer level.
Molten Armaments
At 6th level, you gain the ability to extract and shape minerals from within the earth.
As a bonus action, you can reach into stone and rip out a weapon forged of molten iron. The weapon can be any simple or martial melee or thrown weapon, and attacks with the weapon deal an extra 1d6 fire damage until the start of your next turn due to it's glowing hot blade. After which the weapon cools to a normal, nonmagical weapon.
The damage increases to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 11th level, and 4d6 at 17th level.
As part of this same bonus action, you can pass the freshly forged weapon to another creature.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, and then must take a short or long rest before using it again.
Earth’s Fury
Starting at 14th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal bludgeoning damage to the attacker. The damage equals your sorcerer level. The attacker must also make a Strength saving throw against your sorcerer spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker is pushed in a straight line up to 20 feet away from you.
Rock Soulid
At 18th level, you gain immunity to fire and bludgeoning damage.
You also gain a magical flying speed of 60 feet, by using large rocks to gain footholds in the air and propel yourself. As an action, you can reduce your flying speed to 30 feet for 1 hour and choose a number of creatures within 30 feet of you equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. The chosen creatures gain a magical flying speed of 30 feet for 1 hour. Once you reduce your flying speed in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
