Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The practitioners of this school are very wary and reserved, especially so for the fact that they control the very flow of the river of time. Through the study of the spell Time stop and slow these Wizards have learned to manipulate the very fabric of time, but only in the very minor sense. Temporis Mages that delve to far into the flow of the River of Time are generally swept up by it.

Time Attunement

Starting at 2nd level, the Temporis Mage can now tell the precise time to the millia second. Not only can they tell the time, they can see the flow of Time because of it. A temporis Mage has a +2 to their AC bonus, this stacks with Mage armor.

Internal Recursion

Starting at 6th level, the Temporis mage can now cause a recursion of an action in a single target. 2/day the mage can force a target to relive a single event over and over until the power is let go or someone snaps them out of it. Often times this allows the wizard to complete a particular task with out interruption, but some more nefarious wizards have used this to get the perfect angle to strike. The effect last for 1 minute but after the third round the affected target may make a DC 20 Wisdom save. Success, means the effect ends, if they fail they may make it again at the end of their next turn, lower the difficulty by one each turn.

Example of how this is used.

Alamiz the Temporis mage is hard at work as he notices the a Rogue getting ready to pounce from the shadows. Just as the assassin starts to leap from his hiding place Alamiz snaps his fingers and the Rogue is stuck taking the initial step that would spring his attack. Caught in a perpetual loop of repeating that one step Alamiz can finish up what he is doing and remove himself from the situation.

The action that is repeated is restricted to a single reaction type of action. Like one step, or picking up an item, or drinking a drink, or saying a word. Any amount of damage breaks Recursion immediately, using this to make a target repeat an attack would only make them repeat half the movement of striking someone with a weapon or pulling the bow back but not releasing the arrow.

Time Lapse

Starting at 10th Level, the Temporis mage can now affect the flow of time around him. When they activate this they can now cast Action spells as Bonus actions, in due part a temporis mage can cast two spells in a round so long as one is a Spell and one is a cantrip.

This effect last for rounds equal to their Constitution score.

Once you have used this ability you can not use it again for 2+1d4 rounds

Enoreth Gift

Starting at 14th level, the Temporis Wizard gains the ability to manipulate time and all things connected to it. This is one of the most powerful, but deadly abilities there is, as the temporis mage bends time around them effectively slowing everyone else to their perspective, the currents of time still flow and can not be stopped fully, therefore this cause unimaginable strain on the Mages body. For every Round spent in stasis of sorts their body starts to rip apart, at first it is manageable but it soon becomes deadly. You roll a D20 after the second turn in the River of Time, if you fail you stay in as the currents sweep you away. You still gain all the benefits of the ability. You only take the damage of the round you were in for, in example if Tommy stayed in for 2 rounds and dropped it at the end of his turn he would only take 1d12 damage, not 1d12 and 1d10.

River of Time Damage

  1. 1d10 force damage
  2. 1d12 force damage
  3. 2d10 force damage, must roll 10 or above to stop
  4. 4d10 force damage, must roll 12 or above to stop
  5. 8d10 force damage, must roll 17 or above to stop
  6. 16d10 force damage, must roll 20 to stop
  7. the mage is torn a sunder in the river of time

Benefits of Enoreth's Gift

  • You may cast 2 spells and a cantrip in one round, the second spell takes up your second attack.
  • You gain a second attack
  • your movement speed is tripled
  • when you're attacked roll a percentile, anything less than 75% misses
  • you can not be the target of Opportunity attacks

To everyone else you're a blur of motion only appearing for brief glimpses as if you were blinking around the battle field. Even when you're standing still you seem to fade in and out of the fabric of time. Wise Temporis mages sparingly use this ability and only stay with in the river of time for short periods of time, after all once the currents of the river start to grab you it can be hard to get out. Once you have used this ability you may not use it again until after a long rest.
