Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of the Forge Spells

Channel Divinity

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Forged in Deeds. As an action, you can imbue one weapon that you are holding with the fires of its initial casting, using your Channel Divinity.  For 1 minute, you add your charisma modifier in fire damage dealt by an attack from that weapon (minimum bonus of +1). the weapon also emits bright light in a 10 ft radius and dim light 10 ft beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical it becomes magical for the duration.

You can end this effect when you choose to deal damage to a creature with your Divine Smite feature. The attack does an additional 1d8 fire damage and the target of the attack loses resistances and immunities to the weapons damage type and fire damage until the damage for the attack is resolved.

If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Artisan's Blessing. Starting at the beginning of a short rest, you conduct a ritual to your deity that grants you the ability to craft a finished item that is at least part metal. The item is completed at the end of the rest. The object can be worth no more than 100 gp, and as part of this ritual you must expend metals, such as coins or other finished items, with a value equal to the item you want to make. The item can be an exact duplicate of a non-magical item, such as a copy of a key, if you possess the original during your short rest.

Aura of Mastercraft

Starting at 7th level, while you are conscious you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain a +1 bonus to AC while wearing armor and can add your charisma modifier (min +1) to all checks involving tools. This bonus is doubled for Smith's tools.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Deedforged Heart

Beginning at 15th level, your heart roars like fire as bright as the forges of the gods. Granting you the following abilities:

  • You gain resistance to fire damage.
  • While wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.
  • Whenever you deal fire or radiant damage you ignore resistances and treat immunity as resistance to either damage type.

Flame Made Flesh

At 20th level, as an action, you and your weapons burst into daring flames. For 1 minute, bright light shines from you in a 30-foot radius, and dim light shines 30 feet beyond that.

Whenever an enemy creature starts its turn in the bright light, the creature takes 10 fire damage.

In addition, for the duration, all creatures are vulnerable to damage from your weapon attacks.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
