Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Transmuted Fist have mastered the ability to manipulate their attacks to incorporate the power of the elements. They are able to use their mastery of ki and the weave to channel elemental powers within themselves and strike with extraordinary power.

Transmuted Strikes

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to manipulate the weave to work in tandem with your ki. Once per turn when you make an unarmed strike you can choose to add additional elemental damage to the strike. Choose either acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder. The target takes additional damage of the chosen type equal to your proficiency bonus.

When you use your Flurry of Blows ability, both unarmed strikes can carry this elemental damage as long as you did not use Transmuted Strikes previously on your turn.

Elemental Grapple

At 3rd level when you use your action to grapple a creature and succeed, you can spend 2 ki points to deal elemental damage (choose acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder) equal to a roll of your martial arts die. At the beginning of each of the grappled creature's turns, it takes elemental damage equal to a roll of your martial arts die.

Weave of Natural Energy

At 6th level, your mastery of ki has grown strong enough to touch the weave. You learn the cantrips Primal Savagery and Shocking Grasp. You can also spend 1 ki point to cast Absorb Elements, Burning Hands, Create or Destroy Water, or Purify Food and Drink without material components. You can also spend 3 ki points to cast Maximillian's Earthen Grasp without material components.

Your spellcasting ability modifier for these spells is Wisdom.

Your spell save DC equals 8 + proficiency bonus + WIS modifier.

Elemental Body

You are able to harness the ki within yourself to become one with the elements. At 11th level, on your turn you can spend 3 ki points to gain resistance to acid, cold, fire, lightning and thunder damage for 10 minutes. You can also spend 3 ki points to give the effects of Elemental Body to a willing creature. The total number of creatures that can be effected by Elemental Body at one time is equal to your Wisdom modifier. While effected by Elemental Body you are visibly effected (sparks fly about your body, your fingertips burn with fire, snow falls around your head etc. you choose the form of the visible effect).

Flurry of Natural Wrath

At 17th level, when you use Flurry of Blows, you can spend 2 additional ki points to replace one of your unarmed strikes with Shocking Grasp and/or Primal Savagery. Additionally, you can spend 4 ki points to replace both unarmed strikes. You can use them in any combination (Shocking Grasp twice, Primal Savagery twice, or each one once).
