Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

In worlds where the secrets of gunpowder have been discovered, some wizards forgo their typical exclusive magical training to learn how to use these dangerous new weapons in combination with their magical prowess. They often seek out monsters to prove their power in battle.

Bonus Proficiencies

At 2nd level, you gain proficiency with firearms. While wielding a firearm, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells.

Fighting Style

At 2nd level, you adopt a style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if something in the game lets you choose again.

Archery

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Two Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

Spellbreaker Shot

At 2nd level, you learn to use your bullets to disrupt other spellcasters. When you hit a creature with an attack using a firearm and the creature is concentrating on the spell, the creature must subtract 1d6 from the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.

Extra Attack

When you reach 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.

Repeating Shot

Starting at 10th level, you can use your firearms to split the effects of your spells and affect more creatures. When you cast a spell of level equal to or lower than your proficiency bonus that targets only one creature and doesn't have a range of self, you can use a bonus action to target a second creature in range with the same spell. To be eligible, a spell must be incapable of targeting more than one creature at the spell's current level. For example, scorching ray and lightning bolt aren't eligible, but fire bolt and ray of sickness are.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Combat Magic

At 14th level, you have mastered the technique of casting spells and firing guns into a single harmonious act. When you use your action to cast a wizard spell, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
