Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Restriction: Adept (Fire) Background only
The Flame Seer draws upon the innate chaotic power of fire, and as such, only those with a natural affinity for fire magic have the aptitude to excel as a Flame Seer.

Adepts known as "Seers" draw upon the chaotic energy of their natural element and cast spells with passion and fury. A Flame Seer is one such Adept, who draws upon the power of Mars. They cast powerful fire spells to devastate their enemies.

Blood of Mars

The magic that flows through you is infused with the power of Mars. When you cast a cantrip that deals fire damage, you can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll of that spell.

Controlled Burn

At 1st level, you learn to move your magical flames around your allies to keep them safe from harm. When you cast a spell that deals fire damage and affects other creatures that you can see, you can choose a number of them equal to 1 + the spell’s level. The chosen creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws against the spell, and they take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.

Heart of Fire

At 6th level, you gain resistance to fire damage. In addition, whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals fire damage, fiery magic erupts from you. This eruption causes creatures of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you to take fire damage equal to half your sorcerer level.

Overheat

Starting at 14th level, you can increase the power of your simpler fire spells by overheating your body. When you cast a spell of 1st through 5th level that deals fire damage, you can deal maximum damage with that spell.

The first time you do so, you suffer no adverse effect. If you use this feature again before you finish a long rest, you take 2d12 fire damage for each level of the spell, immediately after you cast it. Each time you use this feature again before finishing a long rest, the fire damage per spell level increases by 1d12. This damage ignores resistance and immunity.

Soul of Fire

At 18th level, you gain immunity to fire damage.

In addition, as a bonus action, you can choose a number of creatures within 30 feet of you equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier. Your fiery magic increases their passion for battle for one minute. The chosen creatures have resistance to fire damage, and they gain an additional action on each of their turns. That action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack or one cantrip attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.

Once you invigorate any number of creatures in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
